Color guard/Winter guard
The Franklin High School Yellow Jacket Color guard is a subunit extended from the Franklin High School Marching Yellow Jackets. These group of individuals assist in the visual aspect of the Marching Yellow Jackets. During the fall competitive season, you can see the group perform along side the band as a cohesive unit. During the winter months the color guard becomes a separate unit and competes indoors all throughout California. The Color guard unit specializes in dace while using props such as flags, rifles, and even sabres.
